The Civil War Trails brings together partners from across the Commonwealth to showcase Pennsylvania's rich Civil War history via high-resolution panoramas and Google Earth. The project represents a dramatic change in the way students, scholars, and visitors can explore sites of historical importance, moving seamlessly between the context of the aerial view and the detail of over 150 panoramas. High school students are using GigaPan to document the sites featured.
