Hear Me Appalachia seeks to amplify Appalachian children’s voices using media and technology to create a world where kids are heard, acknowledged, and understood, thereby giving them the power to inspire change in their lives, communities, and the world. Giving a voice to this relatively underrepresented population is a priority of this project which is being piloted at the Marshall University Early Education STEM Center, other local schools, and at community events.
