The PureAir Project began with the development of a prototype ventilation system for use in wood burning stove kitchens in a Ugandan village. The prototype includes a simple fan and aluminum vent hose, and is powered via small solar panels. In addition, four LED lights on the face of the fan provide much needed light in these otherwise unlit spaces. We are currently looking to scale up deployment of this simple yet effective technology that can improve the quality of life for many.
