Our early pilots indicated that a CS robot should be robust, portable (both physically and across operating systems and languages), low-cost enough for student ownership, and richly interactive. We achieved these goals with a unique tethered robot design – affordable, robust and working in 9 programming languages. Four different sensor types and outputs in light, sound, and motion provide students with a way to create programs that interact with the real world in rich ways.
